A poem
In free verse, best read aloud to enjoy it fully, dear friend.
Over the Edge
Over the edge
I step tentatively,
into the unknown
terrain of my mind.
The flowers of the valley
lift their bright faces,
and smile up at me,
Their scent calls
my seeking mind,
The green grass beds
beckon my hesitant soul,
As I float between
their welcoming carpet,
And letting the past go.
